Ab 1.1.1998 ist es nun amtlich!
Der Telekommunikations-Monopol der Deutschen Telekom ist nun gefallen! Von diesem Zeitpunkt an haben nun andere privaten Telekommunikationsanbieter (z.B.: "o.tel.o", "Vebacom", etc.) die Möglichkeit, sich mit Telekom zu konkurrieren.
Oftmals sind für die Telefon- und Internetkunden in vielen Fällen einige Privatanbieter günstiger als Telekom.

At a computer fair (ComDex) Bill Gates has compared the
Computer industry with the car industry and maked a statement as its follows:

"If General Motors (GM) has kept up with the technology as with the computer industry, we would drive 25-dollar-cars, which would drive 1000 miles per gallon."

As an answer to it General Motors (by Mr. Welch himself) publicated a press statement with following content:

If Gerneral Motors would have developed the same technology as Microsoft, we would drive all cars with following features:

1. Your car would get an accident twice per day without reason.
2. Every time, if lines would be drawn on the streets, you have to buy a new car.
3. Sometimes a car would simply fail on the highway without any reason and you would simply accept this, start newly and drive on.
4. If you make any special maneuvres, i.e. a turn left, the car would simply run out and would refuse to start again. You would have to reinstall the engine.
5. You can only sit anlone in the car, or you buy "Car95" or "CarNT". But then you would have to pay every seat.
6. Macintosh would produce cars, which drive with solar energy, run reliably, drive five times faster and twice time easier, but they only drive on 5% of the streets.
7. The rl control lamp, the warning lamp for temperature and battery would be replaced by the "general car fault" - warning lamp.
8. New seats would be required, so that all have the same buttock size.
9. The airbag system would ask you "Are you sure?", before it releases.
10. Occasionally the car would lock out of you without any reason. You can open it again only with following trick: You would have to pull the door handle, to turn the key and to take the radio aerial by ones hand at the same time.
11. General Motors would force you to buy a Deluxe card set from the company Rand McNally (the daughter of GM) together with every car. If you don't want to get this option, the car would be 50% more slowly (or more). Moreover GM would be an aim of examinations of the justice.
12. Every time, if a car from GM would be quited, all car drivers would have to learn car driving newly because none of the user flags would have the save functions as the old cars.
13. You would have to press the "start"-button in order to shut off the engine.
